From Geneva Airport onto A40 Motorway

Leave Geneva Airport & follow Motorway A40 signs for France following signs for Annecy, Annemasse, Chamonix, Grenoble, Milan.

* After approximately 20km leave the A40 Motorway at the first exit after the Toll (Sortie 15) - you will need approximately €1.70 for the toll. The exit is approximately 1.5km after the toll, signposted for Vallees Verte/Thonon. At the end of the slip-road you will come to some traffic lights - turn left (N503). Stay in the right-hand lane and after  approximately 200m take the 2nd right turn signposted towards Tanninges/Samoëns (D9). Follow the D9 for about 3km until you come to a roundabout where you turn right onto the D907 signposted for Samoëns. This road (D907) will then take you through St Jeoire, Mieussy, Tanninges and Verchaix & eventually all the way intto Samoëns. See below for details to find Chalet Anpie.

Note: If you miss the turning from the A40 motorway - don't panic - continue until toll 18 and exit at Cluse. Samoëns will be signposted as you leave the motorway and you will join the D907 at either Tanninges or Verchaix.

This is an interactive 'Google Map' showing the location of the Chalet and the village of Samoëns. There are markers on the map that help identify the way to the chalet. You will almost certainly arrive in the village along the D907 having passed through Verchaix. As you go under the archway that welcomes you to Samoëns look for a turning immediately on the left (before the small church) - take this left turn and go up a narrow winding road (the road is windy as it rises towards the chalet) and very soon you will have arrived. As you see the chalets at Le Turche you will turn left and Chalet Anpie is the 2nd on the right. Parking is in the underground garage (number 11). Park the car and get ready to start your holiday!
