Chalet Anpie is approximately 65km from Geneva Airport and it takes about 1 hour to drive to the chalet (it is an easy drive).

Car Hire

In our experience there are two possibilities for car hire. It is worth getting a quote from both to see which is cheapest and also signing up for e-mail updates as both of them do have 'special offers' during the year. It can be worth trying all the major car hire companies as well. It is important to book your hire car on the Swiss side of the airport as the motorway pass is included in the rental price.

Note: Whilst the rental price on the French side of the airport may appear cheaper you will need to purchase a Swiss motorway pass (vignette) for €20 or avoid Swiss motorways (which adds considerable distance and complexity to your journey).

    Flights

    The closest airport to Chalet Anpie is Geneva (Chambery is an alternative but is further to drive). It is possible to fly direct to Geneva from London & most regional UK airports. Several airlines fly into Geneva especially during the ski-season (December to April).
    Taxi

    It is possible to arrange a taxi transfer from Geneva Airport to Chalet Anpie. The service is very prompt and comfortable but may work out more expensive than hiring a car.
